TuckerWoods Farm, Columbia, CT 06237

email: kradding@mac.com, http://www.tuckerwoodsfarm.com/

TuckerWoods Farm is owned by Greg & Kelly Radding in Columbia, CT. We breed, raise, and sell llamas and pygora goats, a breed of fiber goat. We specialize in Argen- tine llamas; a breed-type that is known for their fine, dense and abundant fiber. We also raise miniature llamas with an emphasis on fiber quality. Mini llamas are just big llamas in little bodies! We have 3 pet sheep that also provide us fiber. We have our fibers processed into yarn and roving for handspinners at a Connecticut mini mill. We specialize in handpainting, but also have a wide range of beautiful natural colors in our yarns and spinning fibers.

Our TuckerWoods Fiber Designs yarns include "Viva La Argentine", a wonderfully soft 90/10 blend of Argentine llama and merino wool; "Purely Pygora", a line of Pygora yarns that highlights the unique qualities of luxurious pygora fiber; and "Tucker's Toes" our very own sock yarn, a blend of llama, mohair, wool, and nylon. Kelly's sister, Christina creates colorful blended batts of TuckerWoods fibers in combinations that include: Llama-licious, Mohair Magic, and Pygora Poufs.

Kelly also has an independent yarn dyeing business called Mocha's Fiber Designs with 10 regular lines of yarn handpainted by Kelly with her unique style and colors; with seasonal lines added throughout the year. Kelly & her sister Lissa are designing support patterns for all the yarns, concentrating on one skein patterns for socks, scarves and shawls.
